Apartment residents arrested after fight

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A burglary at a Jackson apartment complex turned into a brawl that resulted in several arrests Thursday afternoon.

It happened just after 2 PM at the Belvedere Terrace Apartments on Belvedere Drive, just south of McDowell Road.

Police say a resident accused another tenant of breaking into his apartment. At that point the fight broke out before a crowd of about fifty onlookers.

After police arrived, several people were taken into custody. No one was seriously injured in the fight.
