JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Millions are bracing for Hurricane Sandy along the Eastern sea board.
Meanwhile, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is sending several employees to help with recovery efforts.
MEMA Logistics Personnel Don Wilson and Phillip Langston left Sunday for the Maryland Emergency Operations Center.
They will provide logistics support, for such items as generators, fuel, and food.
MEMA Assistant to the Director, Jasper Welsch, will also travel to Maryland to assist with response and recovery operations.
Hurricane Sandy could make landfall anywhere from Virginia to New York late Monday or Tuesday.
