Jackson, MS (WLBT) - More help is on the way from Mississippi, as crews head east to assist.
Wednesday morning, The American Red Cross in Jackson sent their Emergency Response Vehicles or "ERV's" to lend a hand. Two more volunteers will join thirty-eight others from Mississippi in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
Jarrod Ravencraft says, "Our ERV's will do and what our volunteers are participating in are things like feeding. These ERV's will go out into communities to provide food, water, comfort and clean up kits, to people in the affected areas."
The American Red Cross has deployed more than 1,300 disaster workers to the impact areas from all over the country to help those affected by the storm.
