This morning the main concern will not be cold conditions, but clouds on the ground - better known as fog. Patchy fog is likely to slow down traffic along I-20 headed toward Vicksburg, and along 49 closer to Hattiesburg.
Expect highs in the upper 70s with plenty of sunshine, and winds southwest at 5-10 mph.
Tonight we're going to see a 'slow fall' of temps, keeping us even milder during the overnight period. Temps will only drop into the mid 50s during the overnight period. And there's a slight chance of fog after midnight.
Friday will be even warmer, and higher than usual temps that even the warmth of today. Temps are likely to push into the lower 80s.
We won't have any record highs, but we will stay 'very' warm nonetheless, winds south 6-11.
