Early morning fog will stay limited to the southern portion of our viewing area, mainly in Amite and Pike counties. That aside, we'll have a bright and clear start to the day, expecting highs in the 80s.
The record high is near 88 degrees; but we're not expected to get quite that warm. Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 mph.
Tonight we'll stay mainly clear in the early evening hours, and the winds will become light. By midnight we could see a few clouds begin to pull into our area; along with a cold front moving through at the same time.
Tomorrow will be a repeat of today, with just a few more clouds. Expect a high near 83 degrees under mainly sunny skies. And the winds will be from the south at 5-10 mph. Sunday the clouds will thicken and we're expecting a 20-40% chance of afternoon rain.
