A new act could help families struggling with infertility.
It's called the Family Act and it would provide a tax credit to those who choose invitro fertilization.
The National Fertility Association and others are supporting the Family Act, which would provide a tax credit to those who choose the procedure.
It was modeled after the tax credit allowed for adoption.
Like with adoption, it provides up to 13,360 dollars in tax credits. But you're only eligible for the credit if you make less than 222-thousand dollars a year.
It also covers future infertility procedures, like freezing eggs before people become infertile because of chemo-therapy.
