Jackson police are investigating downtown shooting

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police are investigating a Saturday afternoon shooting in downtown.

Officers have not released any details about the incident.

It happened about 4:30 p.m. on Hudson Street, just off Roach Street.

When our crew arrived on the scene two ambulances were there, along with numerous police cars.

Officers were also searching a wooded area nearby.

We will continue to follow this story as more details become available.
