A bulldozer catches fire in Attala County

ATTALA COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A rare fire occurred in Attala County over the weekend.

A bulldozer went up in flames near a wooded area.

Volunteer firefighters worked to keep the blaze under control before it spread, shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Smoke could be seen billowing up from the dozer.

The heavy machinery was found about a hundred yards away from Attala Road 4106.

No injuries were reported.

It's believed an electrical short may have started the fire.
