All lanes of Lakeland Drive reopened

FLOWOOD, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

All lanes of Lakeland Drive have reopened following a big mess during morning rush hour. A fiber optic line fell across the roadway in Flowood, in front of the old ice park.

Entergy workers worked all morning and into the afternoon to clear the cable. The couldn't cut it so they had to put in back in place.

The lines collapsed Monday night and blocked all six lanes of traffic. The road was shutdown overnight.
