WLBT and Fox 40 join forces

Posted: Updated:
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

You may have noticed the WLBT and Fox 40 families have grown over the past week.

Earlier this month, the new owners of WDBD struck a deal for WLBT to join forces with Fox 40 to form the largest TV news department in Mississippi.

We now have more anchors, more reporters, more photographers and more producers working to bring you news from across Central Mississippi.

The new website and mobile apps we've been talking about -- MSNewsNow.com -- are actually a single source of news and weather from both stations.

Construction is underway on a new control room and satellite farm at our studio in Downtown Jackson.
