Mississippi State is back in the national polls just in time for this weekend's Egg Bowl. The dogs head coach Dan Mullen has not lost an Egg Bowl game since arriving in Starkville 4 years ago saying he knows the importance of winning this game.
"To me it's pretty clear cut for us and who our big rivalry team is, and you know I think our administration understands that, our student body, our fan base, every one in the state of Mississippi understands that, so you get made aware of it" said Mullen. "And as a first year coach, if you don't know coming in or know how important maybe involved in rivalry games before, they educate you very quickly."
MSU is ranked 24th and 25th in a pair of polls this week.
