Two car accident stalls Flowood traffic

FLOWOOD, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Flowood Police are investigating a serious two car collision that occurred during afternoon rush hour. Chief Johnny DeWitt says an Oldsmobile and a Toyota smashed head on at the city limits between Pearl and Flowood, on Mangum Drive.

Chief DeWitt says there are injuries, but none appear to be life threatening. One person had to be extricated from the badly damaged vehicle.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
