Local retailers are also calling this Black Friday a success.
Cowboy Maloney's Electric City opened its 12 stores at 5 a.m. Friday.
More than 100 people were lined up at most locations to cash in on the low prices on TVs and appliances.
Store managers say this kickoff to the holiday season prepares their sales teams for the busy weeks ahead leading up to Christmas.
Although the crowds were large and lines were long store managers say they didn't have any major incidents.
"We checked all 12 of our stores and overall everything went very smoothly. We had a tablet for $49. We had a thousand and they moved about as quickly as they could," store owner Con Maloney said. "That's what we wanted them for, people have been extremely nice, extremely civil. They got the Christmas spirit early and that's what we wanted."
Maloney said the savings will continue through the holiday and beyond.
The store also offers its mirror plus guarantee. That means they'll beat or match the price on any item of their competitors, if it's carried in their store.
