JPD still searching for suspect in balcony fall

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police are still searching for the person who pushed a man from a hotel balcony Thursday morning.

Jackson police spokesperson Colendula Green says officers got the call at 8:19 a.m., from the American Star Hotel at 2655 Interstate 55 South.

Friday afternoon investigators had no additional information to release in the case.

Green said the victim got into an altercation with another white male in room 225, when he was pushed off the balcony.

The man police are looking for left the scene.

Officers say the victim's injuries are life threatening.
