Deadly family feud in Holmes County

HOLMES COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A family feud turned deadly in Holmes County this holiday weekend.

Sheriff Willie March says it happened on Old Tchula Road about 10 p.m. Friday night.

Deputies say 34-year-old Laura Shows was shot by her brother-in-law, 25-year-old Danny Shows, after an argument.

March says Danny Shows will be officially charged with murder on Monday.

Shows remains in the Holmes County Jail.
