Claiborne deputies ask for help in solving homicide

Posted: Updated:
PORT GIBSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Claiborne County investigators believe someone knows information that could lead them to a killer.

Sheriff Marvin Lucas says deputies are pleading for someone who was at Henry Lee's Night Club last Saturday (Nov. 17) when Ivory Anderson was shot and killed to come forward.

Anderson was walking out of the bar during an exchange of gunfire between two other people, according to Lucas.

Another man was also injured in the gunfire.

Lucas says the owner of Henry Lee's has since shut the club down.

Another homicide took place there in 2010.
