PORT GIBSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Hester Martin and Ivory Anderson dated four years before he was shot and killed November 17th at Henry Lee's Night Club.

"You didn't see him without seeing me. You know, we was like Bonnie and Clyde. And it was nothing that I wouldn't do for him and he wouldn't do for me," recalled Martin.

She says Anderson was a mechanic and DJ, who left behind seven children.

Martin said the Claiborne County man would he anyone who was in need, "he didn't bother nobody."

She believes someone who was at Henry Lee's Night Club on that Saturday night knows who killed her boyfriend.

"If it was one of their loved ones laying out there and lost their life, you would want me or if Ivory was still here to come forward," pleaded Martin.

Sheriff Marvin Lucas also hopes a witness will come forward.

"I've heard different stories about different people was shooting. Everyone says so and so was shooting but I didn't see them. Yet, I got a young man that's 30 year's old (38), an innocent bystander, that's dead," said Lucas

The first-term sheriff says Anderson was walking out of Henry Lee's Night Club to get in his car. Gunfire erupted between two groups of people that were shooting at each other in the parking lot.

The 38 year-old father was caught in the middle.

Bullet holes are still visible in the Chevrolet Camaro Anderson was sitting in when he was shot.

Lucas says there have been three homicides at Henry Lee's in the past 10 years.

No security was provided at the club, which has been shut down since the November 17th shooting.

"Believe me, somebody seen something," said Lucas.

Several people have been questioned in the case but were later released.

Lucas says two investigators, including the chief deputy, have resigned because of mistakes made in the initial investigation of the deadly shooting.
