Vicksburg was the place to be Saturday to find unique hand crafted gifts to fill your Christmas lists.

Shoppers flocked to the Holly Days Arts and Crafts Show at the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation.

The auditorium was filled with 30 vendors showcasing handmade items.

Vicksburg students provided music and entertainment as hundreds chose from an assortment of gifts.

You could find everything from clothing and jewelry to wooden toys, knives, collectibles and more.

Local artists were also on site, adding a personal touch to their creations.

Organizers said the holiday event shares the hard work and dedication of local craftsmen and artisans.

"We're all about community. Our foundation maintains our wonderful buildings here at the Southern Culture Heritage Center and we offer cultural educational and artistic enrichment for the entire community, and that's what we're doing today," said Southern Culture Heritage Center Director Annette Kirklin.

The Holly Days Arts and Crafts Show is in its fifth year and was the kickoff to Vicksburg Main Street's Annual Christmas Parade of Lights.
