Musical raises funds for three memorial scholarships

MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A musical in Madison on Saturday night helped raise funds for three memorial scholarships.

"Forgotten Carols" was performed at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in front of hundreds.

Organizers say the musical is a reminder of God's love for everyone.

City leaders hope the performance will become a new tradition in the community.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mason Wilbanks, Sam Clayton Kelly, and the Walker Kelly Memorial Scholarships.
