Former WFIE employee arrested

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

A police call early Saturday morning has resulted in the arrest of an Evansville woman.

27-year-old Lorilyn Prestidge was booked into jail on several charges including domestic battery, disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement, and a felony charge of battery of law enforcement.

Prestidge was, at one time, a reporter employed by WFIE.

She resigned last month to pursue a career outside of news.
