Severe weather makes way for cool temps

MISSISSIPPI (MSNewsNow) - A Tornado Watch remains in effect for Jefferson Davis and Smith Counties Monday morning, with the severe weather making way for cooling temperatures moving in.

The following counties are under a Tornado Watch in effect until 11 a.m. Monday:

  • Jefferson Davis County
  • Smith County

After the majority of the storms cleared out of central Mississippi, cooler temperatures make their way in. Monday's afternoon high will only top out at 54 degree.
