JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is still trying to determine how water got into the fuel system of a Piper PA-32 that crashed into a west Jackson home November 13th.
As we told you earlier, a preliminary report says dirty water, similar to that left behind after dousing a fire, was found
in part of the engine.
Clear water was found in another area of the
fuel system. The NTSB is trying to find out where the clear water came from. Water in the fuel could have contributed to the crash.
Flight instructor Colonel John Tilton Junior, fellow
pilots Captain William Young and Lieutenant Colonel David Williams were
all killed in the crash. They were flying to an air safety meeting in Raymond.
