We recently told you about a Canton family who lost everything in a house fire, a young Jackson mother who lost nearly everything including her children's Christmas gifts to burglars, and a Pearl family whose mobile home is literally disintegrating around them.
The new mobile home they've been paying six years for will not be allowed to be moved to land they own because of new zoning restrictions.
So many of you have reached out to help all of them. Your time, your efforts, your money, your caring mean so much to so many.
Once again, proving that Mississippians are among the most generous folks anywhere. As former Public Safety Commissioner Jim Ingram was fond of saying, "Kindness is something you can't give away. It just keeps coming back."
