Christmas came early for a Jackson family when WLBT and Miskelly's Season of Giving helped replace some of the things they lost in a house fire.
The McKinney family lost everything in a devastating house fire a few months ago. So, a
friend of Katrina McKinney nominated the working single mother of three teens.
Katrina
moved her family into a north Jackson apartment, but had no furniture to fill the rooms, until she was selected as a Season of Giving recipient.
"We're just so grateful to Miskelly's for donating the
furniture to us and it's just been a hard road. This makes it so much
easier and it's going to be a very Merry Christmas for all of us," Katrina smiled.
Katrina was able to fill her apartment with a queen size bed, a bunk bed, two dressers and most
importantly for this family of four, a kitchen table.
