FOREST, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Forest police are searching for two men they say held a family at gun point and robbed them in the family's home.
It happened shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Hillsboro Street.
Police Chief Will Jones says the homeowner went into a bedroom when two black men jumped out of a closet wearing bandanas.
One was armed with a rifle and the other with a handgun. The family had no idea the robbers had snuck in through a laundry room window.
Investigators say the victims were forced into a stairwell while a shotgun, wallet and their cell phones were taken.
No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
You're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355- TIPS if you have any information.
