Two shot to death Saturday morning

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police are investigating the cause of two early morning homicides. The first incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday at 1390 Forest Avenue at the Berwood Apartment Complex. Timothy Collins,38, was fatally shot four times in the parking lot of that complex.

The second homicide happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday. Lamon Arrington, 23, was fatally shot five times. This shooting took place near the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Lanier Avenue.

Jackson police say they haven't made any arrests in either shooting.
