Have you seen the halo around the moon?

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Friday night the moon gave the appearance of a halo around it.

There are high cirrus clouds moving overhead that contain ice crystals. The ice crystals are deflecting the moon's light, which is giving the appearance of a halo around the moon.
