Lightning struck a tree in the yard of a west Jackson home, and took a lot of the fun out of Christmas for the Webb family.
Kira Webb lives at 443 Windsor Dive, off Clinton Boulevard. She says she was laying down when she hard a big crash, adding that the house started shaking and windows began breaking.
Lightning hit the tree, then came down into the ground and moved over to her house. Webb says it scared her pretty bad and also knocked some pictures off the wall.
Webb has no electricity or heat and several windows broken.
She says the lightning strike has messed up her Christmas, but she's glad no one was hurt.
