Santa makes Christmas visit to Sutton's

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
Jolly Ole Saint Nick made his rounds early Christmas morning at CHRISTUS Sutton Children's Medical Center in Shreveport, delivering presents to children who can't spend Christmas at home.

Santa even brought his own jingle bells, ring-a-linging as he went from room to room, hoping to bring a little Christmas cheer to some sick little girls and boys.

"Every kid is special," says Santa Clause. "Christus Schumpert is special. They take such good care of those kids. I am here as much as they need me. And just to bring a smile to anybody is what we live for."

It wasn't just sick children who had their spirits lifted. Parents were excited to see Santa, too.
