Fresh From the Flame - Ravioli Lasagna


  • 2  24 ounce jars of marinara sauce                                                 
  • 1  32 ounce package of spinach & cheese ravioli                                                 
  • 3 cups of mozzarella cheese, shredded                                                 
  • 1 1/2 cups of  parmesan cheese, grated                           


Preheat oven to 375-degrees, and spray a 13 x 9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.                        

Cook ravioli according to package directions.                        

Heat marinara sauce until bubbly.  

Spoon 1/3 of the sauce in the bottom of baking dish and place a layer of the cooked ravioli in the sauce. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and ½ cup of parmesan cheese.                 Make another layer of 1/3 of the sauce, ravioli, and cheeses. Place a final layer of ravioli and pour remaining sauce on top and sprinkle with cheese. Cover with foil and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until bubbly. Uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.                        

Allow to stand 10 minutes and serve.                        

*This is great as a vegetarian dish or a perfect side for baked or broiled chicken or grilled steak.
