MADISON, AL (WAFF) -

Firefighters worked to extricate a man from under his vehicle Saturday morning.

Officials said the man was working on the truck at his home on Gracie Lane when one of the tools holding the truck up collapsed, causing his arm to become wedged underneath the vehicle.

It took emergency crews about 40 minutes to free him.

Officials said they used every tool in their arsenal to extricate the man.

The man's condition is unknown, but he was able to walk to the stretcher. He was taken to Huntsville Hospital.

A firefighter on the scene said he should be ok.
