Attala County firefighters save a home

ATTALA COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

An Attala County home is saved after firefighters battled a blaze that started Saturday afternoon.

Several fire departments responded to a trailer fire on Attala Road 1003 just before 1 p.m. Crews battled heavy smoke while trying to contain the blaze. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the front bedroom of the home.

The entire trailer sustained smoke and heat damage.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
