NESHOBA COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Funeral services are in place for five young siblings and an adult killed when a sport utility vehicle ran off the road and into a rain-swollen creek.

All of the victims of Saturday's crash near Philadelphia were members of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

Tribe Spokeswoman Misty Dreifuss says a funeral for the children, who ranged from 18-months to 9-years-old, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pearl River Facility Building in Choctaw.

Services for family friend 37-year-old Diane Chickaway, will be held Thursday at Hopewell Baptist Church in Leake County.

Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell says the children's father, who was the driver of the SUV, is still in the hospital.

Dreifuss tells WLBT that the mother and Chickaway's husband also survived.

The parents Dewayne John and Deanna Jim also have two other children who were not involved in that fatal accident.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
