Truck crashes into south Jackson home

The Chevrolet truck crashed into a house in the 700 block of Shepwood Drive, near the intersection of McDowell Road, shortly before 10 p.m.

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A pick-up slammed into a south Jackson home Friday night. Somehow, it appears everyone escaped serious injury.

The Chevrolet truck crashed into a house in the 700 block of Shepwood Drive, near the intersection of McDowell Road, shortly before 10 p.m.

On numerous occasions Jackson police could be seen helping the driver stand. The unidentified man was placed in handcuffs and in the back of a police cruiser.

JPD has not released any information about the crash or if any charges have been filed against the driver.

The homeowners say no one inside was injured.
