Pleasant weather Sunday, storms expected Wednesday

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Temperatures will reach the mid 50s Sunday along with a cool northwest breeze.

Clouds and fog gradually cleared Sunday morning with cooler and drier air from the northwest to southeast, which will lead to a good supply of sunshine by afternoon.

Our next storm system will arrive by Wednesday with a round of heavy rain and storms, followed by unseasonably warm weather for the second half of the week. Temperatures in the 70s are likely by Thursday and Friday.
