Christmas on Ice hits milestone on final day

Sunday is the final day to take advantage of the fun at Christmas on Ice in Madison. An hour into its final day, Christmas on Ice welcomed its 100,000th guest.

Madison resident Sarah Burns, 5, was accompanied by her sister Avery and her dad Brian. This was Sarah's third visit to Christmas on Ice.

There are two final concerts Sunday night to close out the season. At 6:30 p.m. the Colonial Heights Baptist Church Worship Team will take the stage, and around 8 p.m. American Idol finalist Skylar Laine will perform. Christmas on Ice will be open until 9 p.m. Sunday.

Christmas on Ice started in mid November and has provided patrons with ice skating, musical performances and entertainment throughout the holidays.
