Woman accused of selling cocaine near church

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police Department officials say a woman is facing drug charges after she was found with cocaine and Codeine, also known as "Syrup,"  in a house near a Jackson church.

Officers searched the residence at 3144 Livingston Road after receiving a citizen complaint about drugs being sold there.

Yolanda Allen, 44, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 1500 feet of a church and possession of a Schedule II narcotic within 1500 feet of a church.
