Slow start in SWAC play for JSU

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

It has been a rough start to the SWAC schedule for Jackson State.

"The championship has not be won by anybody yet. We have a long way to go," stated JSU head coach Tevester Anderson.

That's the attitude Jackson State head coach Tevester Anderson is carrying after his Tigers 0-4 start to the SWAC schedule.

It's the worst start to conference play under Anderson.

He is not giving up hope.

"We have to persevere and be tough. We have to show some mental toughness now," said Anderson.
