I-20W traffic stalls at Gallatin St. exit

HINDS COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

For the second time Friday, a crash on Interstate 20 has traffic backed up and rescue crews clearing debris near the Gallatin Street exit.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation reports the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-20 near exit 45A in Hinds County just before 3 p.m. Officials say it may take up to one hour before the scene is complete cleared.

The cars involved have been moved to the outside shoulder of the interstate. Drivers in the area should expect a delay.

 It is not clear if any injuries have been reported in the crash.
