JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A motorcyclist was transported to a Jackson hospital after a wreck with a car on Highway 18 in Jackson Friday night.

It happened in front of Church's Chicken just south of Interstate 20 around 5:30.

A friend of the motorcyclist said the woman driving the vehicle had just left the restaurant and pulled in front of his friend's motorcycle causing the mishap.

"He hit her right front fender. Wasn't no where for him to go. Then she also hit this car right here," Daniel Colter said.

The driver said she didn't hit anything.

"I didn't hit anything. I didn't see anything. Like I say, my food, you can take a picture of my food. It's right there on the front seat, and next thing I know, my car went bloom, bloom, bloom, my car was shaking. I was pushing my feet to the brake hard as I can get 'em," Sandra Ratcliff said.

Ratcliff was not injured, but the right fender, front tire and rear view mirror of her car were damaged.

Colter said his friend, who he didn't identify, may have suffered a broken leg and injuries to his arms.
