PARMA, OH (WOIO) -

A couple pays a $10,000 reward after their dog is found safe!

Kobe, a red Shiba Inu, went missing around 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

Amanda Fickel and her fiance Matt Gorey were at the Ukrainian Village Park near State and Snow Roads, when Kobe ran onto State Road and got struck by a car.

After the accident, Fickel freed Kobe from the car, but Kobe took off running. Fickel and Gorey searched for hours, but could not find him.

On Sunday afternoon, a local shelter contacted Gorey with the news that Kobe had been found.

Another couple out walking their own dog Saturday evening found Kobe and took him home. They started calling shelters on Sunday to track down his owner.  They do not want to be identified.
