Armed duo robs Jackson gas station

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police is turning to the community for help in finding the armed men responsible for holding up a gas station Tuesday.

Investigators released surveillance video of the men from Bob's Gas & Food Mart in the 4100 block of North State Street.

Officer Colendula Green with JPD said two men walked into the store around 2:30 p.m. One man was seen wearing a purple t-shirt, black pants and black tennis shoes. He also appeared to be carrying a gun in his right hand.

According to police, the second armed robber wore a two-toned blue Patron tequila jacket with blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

No shots were fired, and no one was injured during the exchange. The duo fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
