Police
have now identified that man tenants in a south Jackson townhome complex
discovered lying outside the building late Tuesday night with numerous gunshot
wounds.
According
to Officer Green with the Jackson Police Department, 23-year-old Enrique
Miles was hospitalized Wednesday morning after being shot multiple
times. Green confirms the Jackson man died from the wounds.
The
shooting happened just before midnight at the Timber Ridge Townhomes on
Tuesday.
The
townhome complex is located at 3875 I-55 South in south Jackson. Officer
Green explains tenants of the units found the victim lying on the west
side of the building, suffering from several gunshot wounds.
The
man was transported to UMC where he died Wednesday. Jackson police are
investigating, but no suspects have been named in the case, nor have
officers identified a motive for the shooting.
