RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Twenty-nine-year-old Govan Brandon Mills' bond has been set at 100-thousand dollars after leading police on a high speed chase over the weekend.

Mills, of Boaz, Alabama, blew past a Rankin County deputy on Interstate 20 Sunday night.

When he refused to stop, a chase led sheriff's deputies to Warren County, where four other law enforcement agencies joined in to help pull him over.

Authorities charged Mills with felony fleeing, possession of stolen property, DUI and several other charges.

Rankin County Judge Kent McDaniel has set Mills' preliminary hearing for February 12th.
