JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Men who think helping out with household chores will translate to more sex could be wasting their time.

Couples who follow traditional gender roles to accomplish household chores have sex more often than couples who share so-called men's and women's work.

That's according to a study that found sexual frequency was strongly linked to the types of duties each spouse performed.

More traditional couples were intimate one point six times more per month than couples where the husband did all the traditionally female chores.
