Teen apprehended in dealership's stolen SUV

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police have taken a suspect into custody in the theft of a vehicle at a Jackson car dealership.

According to Officer Colendula Green with JPD 19-year-old Reginald Henderson was apprehended in the area of Clairmont and Capitol streets in Jackson with the stolen SUV from Paul Moak Volvo.

Henderson is facing two counts of auto theft, eight counts of auto burglary and one count of business burglary. He is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident in a hit and run Tuesday night.

Surveillance video shows a man breaking into the dealership off Interstate 55 in Jackson early Tuesday morning, according to Green.

The man in the surveillance video took several car keys and a TV off a wall and broke into several vehicles before taking off in a Volvo SUV.
