JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Several vehicles go up in flames Sunday morning at an auction yard in Jackson.
Huge plumes of smoke could be seen rising above I-55 around 9:30 Sunday morning.
Firefighters responded to the fire at Mid-South Auctions at the corner of State Street and Beasley Road.
JFD Chief Arson Investigator, Greg Travis, says at least 7 cars were burned.
Nine vehicles received some damage.
The fire also spread from parked burning cars to a fence line that blaze was contained, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is remains under investigation.
