Woman shot in north Jackson

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that occurred about 9 p.m. on Sunday night.

Officers say a woman was shot in the 24 hundred block of Overbrook Drive, that's just off Northside Drive.

She was taken to UMC by a private vehicle with non life-threatening injuries.

No arrest has been made and the incident remains under investigation.
