Jackson man hospitalized after dog attack

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Jackson man was hospitalized after being attacked by a group of dogs in south Jackson.  One of the dogs was a Pit Bull according to witnesses.

Jackson Police Officer Colendula Green says the attack occurred in the 100 block of Sunset Terrace Tuesday morning.  

She says a man was bitten on the arm, and his injuries are non-lifethreatening.

Jackson Animal Control removed the dog from the home after the attack. Neighbors say they took the wrong dog.
