JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The City of Jackson dispatched emergency crews to clear drains in response to Sunday's flash flooding.
City spokesman Chris Mims said three public works crews were sent across the city to handle reports of flooding.
Blow trucks are also dispatched to unclog drains.
The Public Works Department received a high volume of calls during the height of the storms.
Residents are asked to call the after hours number on the weekend to report flash flooding.
That number is 601-960-1875.
